The Galán Family
Raised in Santa Ana, El Salvador under the influence of his father’s passion for high quality coffee, it was only a matter of time before Francisco Galán made his mark within the coffee industry.
After losing his father at an early age, Francisco maintained his family’s tradition working for local coffee mills, where he experienced first-hand just how impeccable the coffee of El Salvador was. After his years in coffee mills, he moved through various positions within the coffee industry, including obtaining the role as an accountant for one of the largest coffee companies in El Salvador, retiring in 1976.
Almost a century after the Galán family first began working in the coffee industry, Francisco’s son, Fernando, desired to honor his family’s legacy through coffee. As a result of the incredible influence and inspiration he held from his father and grandfather, Trifinio Coffee Company was brought to life in 2022.
The Trifinio Family
The region in Central America bordered by El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras at the top of mount Cerro Montecristo, the Trifinio region is an area held in high respect by the Galán family for both its peacefulness and fertility.
Just as the Trifinio region brings together three countries, Trifinio Coffee Company aspires to bring people together through love and a quality cup of coffee. With each sip comes a feeling of peace and the inspiration to write the story of your day, every day.
To bring such an inspiration takes an incredible team, and the Trifinio roasters and suppliers are molding that foundation daily working at the exceptional coffee farms. They're not only our coworkers, but our family, and together we are creating a tradition that will last a lifetime.
